Today is the last real day of the school year. Next week is finals. It will also be my first summer that I get to enjoy as a full time professor. I actually keep getting a paycheck this summer. But I get to do real professor work and work on the dissertation.
On May 10 I fly out to London for 5 weeks to work on archival work. I hope that I get a ton of writing done this summer. Kristen is coming over for a week in the middle of my stay. I will miss her greatly and our little baby to be, Eliza.
I sure do love the idea of being a dad. I can't wait to show that little girl off.
